Computer crash

Posted by Fred on October 17, 2011 at 4:25 PM Comments comments (0)

Hello,

Thursday 13 oktober my computer decided to stop working. Windows did not work anymore and i had to find out why. I'm not a computer freak so after a few minutes i was finished and left everything as it was. With the help of my friend Jan Willem in Holland we found out that my HD had a problem and i was so lucky to have a spare in my desktop. Within 2 hours I was back in the air and could work again but the most important stuff, hamradio, was still dead. The weekend I used to set up Ham Radio de Luxe and today, or night, I installed the rest of the programs I use for my hobby.

So now I'm back with de digimodes and also activated WSPR again, I wil test WSPR on 10m for a view days because that band is open most of the daytime and in the beginning of the evening.

Have a look on this website of Dean Moore, a ham operator who is living in Chile and with who i made one of my first BPSK-31 qso's from this location.
